Hector Sofa, 2 seater

By Anderssen & Voll , 2016

Hector is a sofa that makes a statement without imposing its presence, where slim lines set the stage for soft cushions. Contrast plays a key role in the linear look, enhanced by piping all around, juxtaposed against the organic impression of the cushioned interior. Hector was conceived by Norwegian designers Anderssen & Voll, who are keen on emotionally-driven designs that draw on a Scandinavian aesthetic.

About The Collection

The Hector Sofa is based on a variety of contrasting elements, which come together in a harmonious design with loads of options for customisation. Sturdy yet soft and graphic yet organic, the rigid outer frame sets the scene for a softer look in the cushioned interior. As a signature detail, the hand-sewn piping around the outer edges of the frame enhances the outline of the sofa. The frame has a relatively high back and is upholstered in textile. You can match the colour of the cushions in fabric or leather for a monochromatic effect. Or choose from a variety of upholstery options to create contrast.

For Norwegian designers Anderssen & Voll, Hector draws on classic Scandinavian design doctrines in a clean concept infused with comfort. Boasting considered proportions, an appreciation of material properties and the opportunity to customise Hector for any number of settings, such as a co-working scenario, commercial venue or private residence.
