CHROME-PLATED STEEL FRAME
Chrome-plated steel frames are lacquered. Clean the frame with a dry cloth, or a cloth tightly wrung in a mild soap solution. Then polish with a soft, dry cloth. Stubborn marks should be removed with rubbing alcohol. Never use solvents, as these may damage the lacquer.
|LIMESTONE
Limestone is a porous material. It is a soft stone susceptible to etching and staining if you don’t protect it carefully.
In general, you must avoid acid solutions coming into contact with limestone, applies to cleaning products as well (vinegar, lemon juice or other cleaners containing acid).
Wiping the surfaces with warm water and a nonabrasive sponge or soft cloth is the best method for cleaning but will not remove etching or stains that have had time to permeate the surface.
