In Northern Jutland, Denmark, surrounded by windblown dunes, lyme grass and the roaring waves of the North Sea, lies a beautiful and calm cultural treasure – the seaside hotel, Svinkløv Badehotel.
The hotel is known for its tranquil, stress-free ambience, offering scenic views, sublime dining and a classic Scandinavian style that is calm, peaceful and closely connected to the surrounding nature.

The owners, and the designers involved in restoring the hotel after a fire in 2016, have adhered to an impressively consistent ‘less is more’ strategy. Most of the interiors are kept in a summery palette of white, gray and light blue, and throughout the hotel, you will find the classic, painted wood panels.
In a section of the hotel known as the ‘Purple suite’, modern classics from Fredericia were included to help create that certain Scandinavian summer vibe: Børge Mogensen’s Spoke-back sofa and Ejvind A. Johansson’s J64 Chair.
Svinkløv is renowned for their sublime cuisine, which, under the management of Svinkløv’s owner, chef, and 2019 Bocuse d'Or winner, Kenneth Toft-Hansen, offers delicious menus comprised of the season’s finest produce, all of which is fresh, organic and locally sourced in Northern Jutland.
