Mana Restaurant, Norway
Minimalist architecture with a warm Scandinavian touch
Situated in Trondheim, the third-largest city in Norway, MANA Restaurant is located in the southwestern part of the city, providing proximity to the scenic areas of Smidalen and the beautiful Nidelven River.
In contemporary and spacious surroundings, the restaurant offers a culinary experience emphasising Norwegian ingredients infused with inspiration from the Nordic region and the rest of the world. With a dedication to delivering taste experiences of the highest quality.
The different zones within the restaurant cultivate a down-to-earth and relaxed atmosphere, providing guests with a sense of homeliness. Simultaneously, the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows along the facade add an exclusive touch, connecting the interior space with the surrounding environment.
In a similar fashion, the floating and sculptural rice paper lamps elegantly frame the restaurant's interior design. The Plan Chairs and Plan Tables, designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, adorn the premises with their minimal and modern aesthetic. By blending Plan Chairs in various colours, textiles, and materials to achieve dynamic harmony, the decor seamlessly enhances the warm Scandinavian ambience of the restaurant while maintaining tranquil Nordic tones.
