The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is an environmental label that focuses on minimising the environmental impact of products throughout their entire life cycle, from raw material extraction and production to use, reuse, and waste management. It is the official ecolabel of the Nordic countries and is widely recognised for its ambitious standards and its role in the green transition.
In addition to the high sustainability standards, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel also imposes strict requirements on products and production. This includes limiting harmful chemicals, focusing on efficient resource use, and considering biodiversity and circular economy principles.
