Highlights from 3daysofdesign 2026
During this year's 3daysofdesign, we welcomed visitors to the Fredericia showroom to explore a dialogue between archival pieces, modern classics, and contemporary works.
Across the week, the showroom became a place for conversation and exchange - a setting where longstanding design values met new perspectives. Through carefully curated presentations, we reflected on the enduring relevance of craftsmanship, materiality, and thoughtful design.
Fredericia: A Chronicle of Danish Design presented in Copenhagen
After its debut in Milan in April, the exhibition was reimagined for its presentation in our Copenhagen showroom. Displayed as a series of immersive environments, Fredericia: A Chronicle of Danish Design brings together rarely-seen vintage pieces, historic archival materials, and original works never previously shown to the public.
During the days, the exhibition became a central point, exploring local foundations and global conversations, where, with the guidance of Fredericia, visitors could discover the evolution of a design philosophy rooted in continuity and responsibility.
Design talk: Who Gets to Shape Danish Design?
We were joined to discuss the future of Danish design by Marco Sammicheli, director of Museo Del Design Italiano at Triennale Milano, designer Keiji Takeuchi, Rasmus Graversen, CEO and 3rd generation of the Fredericia Family, and Maria Bruun, Head of Design, moderated by Rosa Bertoli, Global Design Director at Wallpaper*. The conversation, which brought together perspectives and opinions, acted as a companion piece to this year's look into a century of Danish design, providing visitors with a new perspective on what's to come in the design world.
